The SHiFT Forum Series has been a principle point of entry for people drawn to SHiFt and its mission.
Guest speakers and panel members present insights, information, and resources to support the transition process. These bi-weekly, well-attended presentations are followed by Q&A, discussion and opportunities to network.

Networking in the New Age of Networks
The most powerful process to guide us in the direction we want to go is the one created by communicating with other people. Many of them we do not know. Not yet. Others are willing to offer support, if only we can find them and make a connection.

the Wooddale Job Transition Group.

Also on tap at this Forum: a discussion about what we — the SHiFT community — want from our networking experience. Come prepared to listen, and to ask questions. We intend to make space for what will be a standard feature at all Forums starting June 9: an hour reserved between 6 PM – 7 PM to practice the networking art.
Sage Presence will facilitate these sessions.

Location and Parking
SHiFT Forums are held at the Dunn Brothers coffee at 329 West 15th Street, Minneapolis (Loring Park) (map). Free dedicated parking is located nearby at 1730 Clifton Place (map), the parking lot for the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota.
