SHiFT Events _____________________________________________________
The SHiFT Forum Series has been a principle point of entry for people drawn to SHiFt and its mission.
Guest speakers and panel members present insights, information, and resources to support the transition process. These bi-weekly, well-attended presentations are followed by Q&A, discussion and opportunities to network.

Do It Green! Vacation Routes, Local Foods, and Community Guides
Our three creative presenters are at the forefront of the environmental sustainability movement. At this Forum, they'll outline energizing strategies to do things smarter and better day to day, right here in Minnesota.
Carol Banks is the publisher of the quarterly publication Edible Twin Cities. Inside, mouth watering recipes, articles, and a directory of Community Supported Agriculture Farms (CSAs) which guarantee fresh, local produce throughout the growing season.
Margaret Schnieders works with Renewing the Countryside, a rural renewal network that builds awareness
and support for sustainable endeavors and fosters connections between urban and rural people. Last year, RTC initiated Green Routes, a website and guide to find one-of-a-kind places throughout Minnesota.
The director of Do It Green! Minnesota is Amy Voeltz. Her organization engages hundreds of volunteers in the process of educating Minnesotans about green and sustainable living.

Everyone a Teacher, Everyone a Learner
In a SHiFT Circle, knowledge from lived experience is valid knowledge. Each of us brings valuable perspective.
These three-session series of small-group lifework discussion and planning are led by a skilled facilitator. Participants can explore their strengths and challenges, connect with others, and create a future vision that includes initial action steps.
To secure your place in the next series, contact Earl McGovern. For best results, we recommend you attend all three sessions.
